Jed Davis has been practicing law full-time since 1963 and has argued numerous cases before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court and other appellate courts. He began his career in New York City following his graduation from Yale University and later served as an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps before relocating to Maine.
As the Firm’s owner and senior attorney, Jed brings decades of experience across a broad range of legal matters. He is known for his practical judgment, strategic insight, and disciplined approach to litigation, as well as his ability to assess complex matters and guide them toward resolution.
Jed remains actively involved in the Firm’s cases, providing oversight, strategy, and guidance across the Firm’s litigation practice.
He lives on his farm in Fayette and is the father of three adult children and grandfather to four. His daughter, Aglaia Davis, is an attorney based in New York City who assists the Firm with legal research and litigation support.
